Deen (Fuad Backović) was born on 12 April 1982 in Sarajevo.
Backović graduated from the Istituto Marangoni with a degree in Fashion Business.
He is splitting time between Bosnia and Milan, Italy.
At the age of 12, Fuad has recorded his first song, which was produced by Bosnian television PBSBi H.
From 1997 to 2011 Backović became the lead singer of the Bosnian boy band Seven Up, releasing with it two albums "Otvori oči" (Open Your Eyes) and Seven.
With the band he had a lot of concerts around Bosnia and Herzegovina, all ex-Yugoslavia countries, Balkan and Western European countries, where they received numerous awards for the work.
In 1998, Deen received an offer to perform for an opera choir.
His vocal abilities had been noticed by the National Theater of Bosnia and Herzegovina and as a 16-year-old he performed with the Choir of the National Theatre jointly with the worldly renowned Opera Choir from Ukraine in the Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, at the final night of the classical music festival Simff.
Ever since Deen became a solo performer, he had a chance to work on numerous different projects in music and fashion.
In fifteen years of his active presence at the ex-Yugoslavia countries and Balkan music and fashion scene he has gathered a lot of experience in these two fields.
In the period 2002-2009 he has been awarded with nine Davorins (most important national music award in Bosnia and Herzegovina) in categories such as: best singer, best album, best video, etc.
In the year 2002/2003 Deen was a member of the selection board for Ellite Model Look Bosnia and Herzegovina together with representatives of Ellite Model Look Milan Italy.
