The authors incorrectly divided the 2.1184 difference by 6.1316 to reach 35%. However, the problem of the TRUE value of the US economy remains because of the relatively new and questionable US financial instruments. Some of them are gambling games similar to the numbers racket of the early to mid-1900′s. Some place wagers on the reactions of small investors to big stock purchases with plans to sell quickly when stocks are “kited” by the big purchases. These are schemes to cheat small investors and companies without increasing the real values of the companies.
