He knows the film industry and is a very talented actor, but his opinions on world matters fall flat for me. If Sony Entertainment were to spin out – its multiple would expand (it would rerate to LGF and DWA multiples of 20-25x vs SNE 15x) and have more access to cheap capital to reinvest in more product – which would create more jobs and profit for all – so you guys should be on Loeb’s side. Beware of false prophets. Stop innately hating on hedge funds or investment capital for that matter because you have been told to through media and your political affiliation – think for yourself.
